As we expand our repertoire, we tried our hand at a two piece dress. We are told the pictures don't do the fabrics justice. The main body is a varigated gold washed satin in sunset colors of reds, pinks, and yellows. The motifs are done in silver and green broken glass hologram, black sequin and glitter satin, plum glittered satin. The gores and underskirt are done with electric blue glittered and crystalled satin. The bodice connects to the skirt with velcro at the seams- but removes completely to keep cool during those outdoor feisanna or for eating.
		The client picked the colors from fabric swatches and requested stars. The design was one of two that she chose from. The body of the dress is black sequin and glitter satin. The design is a combination of purple glitterball, blue and apple green crystal satin, and silver holographic foil. The back of the dress shows off the shaped hem and back design. The shawl section attaches with three large black snaps- I find they are more reliable than velcro.
		This was our first attempt at a solo dress- it was well received. The body of the dress is a pink watermark satin with silver beads and crystals. The dragons and knot motifs are made from blue and purple confetti dot and apple green satin (with beads and crystals). The underskirt and pleats are made from gold beaded and crystalled satin. On the back of the solo dress, the gold fabric around the dragons is the same gold that lines the underskirt and shaped pleats. 		The original official dress of Kerry Dance, Warwick, NY (changed in 2007 due to fabric availability issues). Embroidery was done by a third party to the teacher's specifications.
